- Deposit - 30% required to secure booking within 2 weeks of booking.
- Groups 50% Deposit to secure booking (8 pax or more)

Cancellation Policy
- Deposit - non refundable
- 0-31 Days prior to arrival – No refund
- More than 31days - 50% of total value, less deposit.

Boat Hire Costs
Fuel For Fishing Trips & Other Leisure Activities

All fuel will be charged for at the ruling price, currently R18 per liter. This price can change without prior notice. (Please verify your consumption after each trip).

All boats are equipped with a radio, fish finder, GPS & life jackets. An experienced skipper and gillie will assist clients. Snacks can be provided on request, please book the day before your excursion. Please discuss all your requirements with management on arrival at the lodge.
How To Get There

Flights
Daily flights are available from OR Thambo JHB to Vilanculos.
Federal Air also do flights from Nelspruit once a week to Vilanculos so Clients wanting to have a beach and bush experience can enjoy the best of both.

Self Drive
Vilanculos is situated 750km north of Maputo or 1300km from either Durban or Pretoria. This is scenic 2 day drive and sleep over is recommended as it is not advisable to drive on Mozambiquean roads after sun set. When travelling by road please make sure that you have the original car and trailer registration papers, 2 red triangles and a reflective jacket in your car incase of breakdowns. The general speed limit is 100km/h and strictly 60km/h in towns.
Secure parking can be arranged in Vilanculos, at ruling rates for self drive clients.
- Boat Transfers
Linene Island can only be reached by boat (+/1 1hour)
Boat transfers are weather and high tide dependant. The ideal departure time is about 2 hours before high tide. Clients are expected to be available 3 hours before departure. Departure times are decided at the sole discretion of the Resort Manager.
Any special or non-scheduled transfer will be charged for separately.
We recommend you bring a weather proof jacket should it be windy, to protect you from the spray of the water.
- Documents Required
Visas: South Africans no longer need a visa to visit Mozambique. Foreign nationals will need a visa which can be obtained at Immigration upon arrival $27
Passports: Passports should be valid for at least 6 months after your return date and have a minimum of 3 blank pages.
- Malaria
Mozambique is a Malaria area. We will make every effort to reduce the risk to guests by regularly spraying the lodge environs with mosquito poison and by supplying adequate mosquito nets. Guests should consult a physician with regards to precautionary medication before leaving home. Bring along your own supply of insect repellent.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Boat TransfersThe boat transfer will depart as soon as the last flight, carrying Linene guests arrive. All clients will be returned in time for the first flight departing with Linene guests.
Other return transfers or special trips will be arranged at midweek client specials
2. Transportation of commodities, including staff, required by Linene ResortWe reserve the right to transport any commodity required for the resort, as well as staff on the same boat as our clients. This will naturally be done without creating an inconvenience to our clients. Exclusive transfers can be pre-booked. This will cost substantially more than the regular fee's and is subject to availability of boats.
3. Boat HireRods and reels for deep sea fishing available. Bring terminal tackle and trace wire. (No 7).

Packed meals will be provided on request.

4. Fuel chargesLinene, like other resorts charge clients for fuel used.
This includes fishing in the estuary and trips to the"sand pit" and main beach.
Please verify your daily usage on return.
5. Cash BarOur bar is well stocked and the ruling prices are displayed.
Ice and bottled water are available with our compliments.
Clients may sign for this expense, payment to be made prior to departure from the island.
Please check and verify your consumption each evening for billing purposes.
6. Expenses incurred at LineneThis rate structure is the only structure and has been provided to and is incorporated in our agreement with preferred booking agents.
Clients are required to check and settle their expenses in full, based on this structure, prior to departure.
Queries must be directed to your Agent on return and not to Lodge Management.
7. Payment for reservations and transfers7.1 Deposit - 30% of our invoice is due and payable within 7 days from date of invoice. The deposit is non-refundable and secures the reservation
7.2 Balance - The total invoice value is due 30 days prior to arrival. We are unfortunately not permitted to allow clients on the island, unless payment has been effected in full in our bank account.
